Update: The trees have been planted! Alhamdulilah we had an amazing BBQ of chicken wings and kofte with salad. Jazakallahkhair for all the brothers and sisters who contributed with their money, time and effort. We ask Allah to bless our trees, make them fruit bearing quickly, with beautiful and tasty pears, apples and peaches. Ameen.
12 fruit bearing trees will be planted today at the Bloomfield Dersana. These trees will be dedicated to the children in our community so they may grow with the trees and become tied to this land. In addition we hope it becomes a source of tayyib and halal sustenance for the Bloomfield community. Please join us if you’re in the area.
